Shari Quai, founder of Aive Aesthetics + Wellness, was an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. As one of Utah’s original veterans in the field of medical aesthetics, she dedicated over 13 years full-time to her craft. With her remarkable medical background and intuitive artistic eye, Shari transformed thousands of faces with outstanding, natural results.

Early in her career, Shari noticed a recurring challenge: some clients felt their Botox treatments didn’t last as long as expected. True to her commitment to science, she turned to clinical research and found multiple independent studies showing zinc could enhance neurotoxin longevity. For years, she recommended zinc supplementation to patients experiencing shorter results, and saw remarkable improvements.

That insight became the foundation for Fox Tox. Her husband, Josh Quai, began developing a transdermal zinc serum designed to support skin health and complement injectable treatments. With hundreds of satisfied clients experiencing the benefits firsthand, the we knew it was time to bring Fox Tox to everyone.

In 2023, Shari bravely passed away after her battle with cancer. Her vision, passion, and artistry live on through Fox Tox. Today, we carry her legacy forward—continuing the mission she began: combining science, beauty, and care to help people feel timeless, confident, and authentically themselves.
